- Causes of back pain other than common mechanical causes (e.g. cancer, tuberculosis).
- Damaged joints or ligaments, and unhealed fractures.
- Acute infections (e.g. joint, sinus, middle ear, eye, etc).
- Recent trauma and operations.
- Artificial prostheses and skeletal implants, (e.g. neck, back, and joints).
- Any heart and circulatory disorders (e.g. uncontrolled high blood pressure, thrombosis, severe angina etc).
- Recent cerebral bleeding or thrombosis (stroke) or transient ischemic attacks (“mini stroke”).
- Anticoagulant therapy (e.g. warfarin), including high doses of asprin.
- Eyes (e.g. glaucoma, retinal detachment).
- Hernias (e.g. hiatal, ventral).
- Severe osteoporosis.
- Aneurysm (e.g. Cerebral).
- Pregnancy.
- Extreme obesity.
- Spinal injury.
- Cerebral sclerosis.
